4-6 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves
Mrs. Dash seasoning
6 slices of American cheese
1 (10 oz) can cream of celery soup
1/2 c. sour cream (I add about 3/4 c. instead)
1 (6 oz) box chicken stuffing mix
1/2 c. (1 stick) butter or margarine, melted
Directions:
Place chicken in sprayed, oval slow cooker. (with freezer meal I combined the chicken, about 2 tsp. Mrs. Dash seasoning, soup, and sour cream in gallon sized bag). Sprinkle each breast with seasoning.
Place slice of cheese on top.
Combine celery soup and sour cream in saucepan and heat just enough to mix well and spoon over chicken and cheese.
Sprinkle chicken stuffing mix over top of cheese. Drizzle melted butter over stuffing mix.
Cover and cook on LOW for about 5 hours. Serves 4-6.
We like to eat ours with cooked spaghetti. Egg noodles would also be good option.
FREEZER MEAL:
In bag #1 place chicken, soup, seasoning and sour cream.
In bag #2 place a cube of margarine, 6 slices of cheese and bag of stuffing mix.
