March ’12 MENU and Swap Day

We had our March meal swap yesterday and it was wonderful!  I think it is this group’s biggest swap to date! We currently have just 4 members in our group, but we wanted ALOT of meals.  We decided that each of us would cook 3 meals a total of 6 times. So… I had 2 card tables set out and then my dining table. Kristi and Amity each had their meals on a card table and Amanda and I split my dining table. We brought our food and distributed one of each meal to each person…. that put us at 12 meals. Then we put the remaining 24 meals on the buffet bar and each of us took a turn grabbing one until they were all gone and we each had 18 total.  So in the end we had 18 dinners and a few were duplicates. Like I ended up with 2- Teriyaki Wings, Mac and Cheese, Cordon Bleu, Pigs in a Blanket, Spaghetti Sauce, and Marinara Meatballs.
